Striper/ Spotted bass report May 4, 2010

Fishing today was very good for striper and spotted bass. The fish today ran a little small but we managed to boat 9 stripers flatlining bluebacks around main lake points on the south end of the lake. We are catching a mix of huge spots and stripers. I always like to keep a guy in the front of the boat this time of year casting a topwater or today a weightlless zoom super fluke. Water temp today was 70 degrees which is perfect for the topwater action. The next 5-6 weeks we should see this top action continue and get even better. I don’t  think we have seen the topwater action peek yet. So don’t miss out. Will be out the rest of the week and will report back soon.
