Striper Report April 24, 2010

Went out today on half day charter dodging the storms and had fairly good day. We boated 7 stripers up to 12 pounds. We saw a good bit of surface action , stripers and spots chasing bait on the surface. Five of our stripers were caught flatlining bluebacks and the other two we caught casting weightless zoom superflukes. We also caught quite a few nice spotted bass. I would say the topwater action is on. The water temp. is holding around the 68-70 degree mark which triggers the top action.  Will be out next week and will report back soon.
