Fishing still good for stripers. Today we boated 9 stripers up to around 10 pounds flatlining herring. We hooked up 3 of our 9 on zoom ice flukes on 1/4 ounce lead heads. Spots are also hitting the flukes quite well. We caught around 10 spots up to 3 pounds casting the flukes up on shallow [...]
Went out today on half day charter dodging the storms and had fairly good day. We boated 7 stripers up to 12 pounds. We saw a good bit of surface action , stripers and spots chasing bait on the surface. Five of our stripers were caught flatlining bluebacks and the other two we caught casting weightless zoom superflukes. [...]
Fishing for stripers was great today. We boated 12 fish on half day charter with our largest fish weighing around 16 pounds. Most all our fish were in the 7-12 pound range.
